This work with a partner has an aspect of play, and is also very aesthetic, which allows the whole technical range of this style to be performed, thanks to a subtle adaptation of the movements for staged fight.

This training is a very good approach of the martial aspect of Taiji-Quan for it develops many qualities, such as rhythm, explosiveness, precision, dodge, range…

In this film, you will enjoy the details of each sequence of both solo forms (Pao-chui or “forms of the cannonball boulet fist) slow and swift.
This work is followed with an application work with the partner, so that this wonderful combination be complete.

Thierry Alibert:
He is an international expert of ancient and modern Yang Style. He is the founder of the t.a.o. old yang style school.
He supervises training sessions in France and abroad, and relentlessly spreads his art, like a craftsman walking the earth in order to meet as many people as possible and share his passion for this millennial art.
A former great Karateka and foot-fist Boxer, he has been a many times European Taiji Quan Champion (weapons, empty hands, fight, and sword), he was a finalist in the World Yongnian Tournament that took place in 1999 to celebrate the bicentennial of the birth of Yang Lu Chan, founder of this style. And now, thanks to his many pedagogical films, he shares this 25 years old experience of his, devoted to martial arts and to energy health techniques.

Jean-Luc Chastanet:
Taiji-Qan and Qi-Gong instructor in France, Black Belt in traditional Karate, he has been a commited student of Thierry Alibert’s since 1991.
Together, they won twice the European Taiji-Quan Championships of San Shou.
